Music Video Production Blog - Filming inside

I think that it helps to create that intense and dramatic mood that we are going for. A lot of these scenes I would try and just talk to my other group members to make it seem more natural when we were recording. Though this sometimes made it hard for me to try and stay in character and not laugh. During the scene of my friend pushing me on the tire swing, I distracted myself from the came...

Music Video Production Blog - Preparation

First Scene --    The first scene begins with a high angle shot of a calendar marked with a heart in red on the date “August 10.” This is meant to show the date of the couple’s anniversary .   Second Scene --   The second scene starkly contrasts with the first scene as the main character is ripping the same calendar in the first scene . Both scenes will use jump cuts to transition back and forth between each other; each cut following along with the beat of the song.   Third Scene --   This scene includes a medium long shot of them happily dancing that will also use jump cuts to transition back and forth from the third and fourth scene     Fourth Scene --   The fourth scene transitions with a similar jump cut as the first and second scene. The fourth scen e includes an argument between the two main characters which starkly contrasts with the couple’s happiness in the scene before.   Fifth Scene –   The scene transi...
